Melody
The melody of Cold Frosty Morning, as given in the attachments here, is based upon the Dorian scale, but makes use of the Mixolydian scale in the first two measures of its B-Part, which is why the B-Part begins with the 1 (Major) chord instead of the 1m (1 Minor) chord.
